Our client's old CAD software had to be replaced with a new version. The company had more than 40 CAD software users from different user groups.
The traditional installation method, i.e. the installations individually, would have prevented working on the terminals for 7-10 days, which would have naturally caused great harm to the customer's business.

When you can't afford mistakes and delays
SKB, which is responsible for the safe handling and final disposal of the radioactive waste generated in Sweden's nuclear power plants, wanted to automate the packaging, configuration, installation and maintenance of CAD software and ensure an error-free process.
SKB's CAD software is very complex, and updating it is often both a long and error-prone process. But because there was and cannot be room for mistakes - SKB chose Symetri's CQ™ installer (CQi).
When there is no time to waste
The design company Afry has a comprehensive range of services (built environment, industrial and energy planning and consulting services) and thus also a very extensive software portfolio.
A feasibility study conducted with Symetri showed that annual savings of 15,000 man-hours would be achieved by using Symetri's CQ™ installation program (CQi) in the installations. The time savings consisted exclusively of the time spent on installation and configuration.
When a fast and smooth update process is an absolute requirement
NIS Ltd designs and manufactures versatile technical tailor-made solutions for several industrial sectors. When preparing for a major public sector project, NIS found that the project would require a lot of cooperation between the company's different branches. Ensuring consistency and bringing a large number of users to the same software version required updating the entire CAD environment at once.
In a traditional way, the update process would have taken 10 days or more, which would have significantly affected the company's daily operations.
